Lee and Tom Chapman (Norma Lee Gray) class of 1968, are hosting an open-house Sunday, August 9th from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm at their home at 83 Summit Tower Circle on Reynolds’ Mountain in Woodfin (see directions below).
Please drop by for refreshments and to participate in helping to provide back-to-school supplies for a very needy part of our community (see suggestions below).
This will be a catered event so Lee & Tom will need an accurate count of those attending. Please RSVP by August 4th to (727) 535-6339 and ask for Judy Bennett.
If you would like to make a donation of cash, please make checks payable to the Woodfin Police Department and designate “Back-to- School Supplies" on your check. We will deliver the supplies and cash donations to them on the following Monday. This will be a relaxing and enjoyable time to see friends and to make a difference for a child who might otherwise not have the basic essentials to return to school in the Fall.
Directions to the Chapman home
Take 19/23 north to exit 23 – turn right at the stop sign and stay straight at the traffic signal. Directly ahead is the entrance to Reynolds Mountain. Go through the traffic signal and you will be on north Merrimon avenue. Follow north Merrimon to the stop sign. Turn left on Senator Reynolds road Proceed on Senator Reynolds road up the mountain through the gate and further up you will come to another stop sign. Continue on Senator Reynolds’ road up the mountain until you come to Summit Tower Circle. Turn left on Summit Tower (you will see an open barbeque area ) Proceed up the mountain (bearing left) to the top of the ridge to 83 Summit Tower Circle.
